![]() Same "guy" couldn't even remember who ordered what (probably had his mind preoccupied with getting beefed up, and a new hair-cut, and some manicure) - probably their job is just to walk the plates, glasses and bottles back and forth, and cash up the bill (activities for a well rested mind).Īs already mentioned, we had to engage into a game of lip-reading, to understand what the poor waiter was mumbling. interesting and entertaining.Įventually, one of them has decided to drag his behind to the table we've chosen, only when he noticed we were trying to append another table (action that had noticeably disturbed and upset him) and he mumbled something with a half-opened mouth (which remained half-opened during the entire time we've spent there). The 2 "choir" boys working upfront, didn't even bother to get up, greet us and guide us to a table - I guess the stuff they were stalking into their mobile phones was by far more. Do everyone a favor - smoke outside, away from non-smokers. I despise smoking/smoke, especially indoors. I was even at a table rather far away from the "outdoor" area and it was as if I was right next to the smokers breathing in their disgusting, foul smoke. Nonetheless, people smoke and the smoke just drifts throughout the entire restaurant. Half of the restaurant is designed as an outdoor patio area, but in cold weather plastic sheeting/walls cover the patio area, meaning the outside area simply becomes part of the inside area. The one thing that really bothered me was the smoking. Food and drinks are good and I liked the selection of music. The third time I visited was for lunch, as the pizzas are quite good.Īll in all, this is a fun place, and it's actually somewhat large. A Romanian group even came over to my group of friends and sang Happy Birthday to us in Romanian, which really added to an already fun experience. to celebrate a birthday and have some drinks. ![]() The second time was with a smaller group. The first time was part of a large group out for drinks. I visited here a few times over the course of a couple days. Directed by Melina Matsoukas, the film leans into music and movement in a way that she’s come to be known for, whether in her feature-length debut Queen & Slim or her music projects, including the video for Beyoncé’s single Formation. One of them follows the arrival of Levi’s 501s in Kingston, Jamaica, in the 1970s and the way in which locals introduced their own tastes to the jeans. The campaign, named The Greatest Story Ever Worn, is told through three films that draw on real stories about people’s relationships with their 501s. To mark 150 years since introducing its most beloved cut of jeans, the 501s, the brand has launched a campaign orchestrated by Droga5 that emphasises its cultural legacy – not just in its US birthplace, but around the world. There are few brands that have reached icon status, but Levi’s has to be one of them.
